I spent my 20's eating & doing whatever I wanted. Yes I gained weight, but I lost it just as easily. ANYTHING worked.
Then around 33-34 I found myself a little too "happy" in my relationship and very unhappy with what I saw in the mirror.
Fine... easy fix. I started working out and "eating healthy". I was in the gym 3-5 days a week. I was eating more protein and veggies. I did this consistently for a year and it felt like nothing had changed. I thought maybe I was stronger... but I was definitely bigger. I was still cancelling plans because everything made me feel fat... still focusing on buying cover ups instead of bikinis.
And I know everyone likes to say that it takes years to achieve certain results or build that "muscle mommy" body and they are right... but it only takes about few months to start seeing real change. I just wasn't doing it right.
